Animo Studios, the entertainment-tech startup founded by top livestreamer and Fortnite champion Harley Fresh, has launched its pioneering suite of live, animated characters for online casino games, debuting exclusively with Stake, the world’s largest online casino operator.
Combining advanced motion capture, machine learning, live broadcasting, and proprietary software and hardware, Animo allows human hosts to transform into fully animated characters with distinct names, storylines, and personalities. These hosts are designed to make live table games more engaging, immersive, and interactive for players.
The debut with Stake marks the first step in Animo’s broader ambitions, with plans to expand the technology to live game shows and introduce IP-driven characters in collaboration with leading entertainment partners. Animo’s team includes IP veterans with experience working on campaigns for Netflix, Warner Bros, and Universal Studios.
Harley Fresh, CEO at Animo Studios, said:
“Animo is set to reshape table games, game shows, and beyond, reimagining how we play, connect, and engage online. The live entertainment space has stagnated for too long, and we see enormous potential to bridge the gap between gaming and iGaming.”
Brais Pena, Chief Strategy Officer at Easygo, the Melbourne-based tech powerhouse behind Stake, added:
“Animo’s innovative use of software and hardware pushes the entertainment experience to the next level. It’s exactly the type of project we want to support.”
The animated hosts interact in real time, engaging directly with players while interacting with physical objects in immersive environments. This opens up opportunities for celebrity and influencer-led branded characters, extending their reach into iGaming.
Animo officially launched on 8 September 2025 exclusively with Stake, with further operator and aggregator partnerships already in the pipeline.
