Yaspa Appoints Former Revolut Executive Renuka Rawlins as Head of Policy and Public Affairs

UK fintech Yaspa, a fast-growing specialist in payments and identity, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Renuka Rawlins as Head of Policy and Public Affairs.

Rawlins joins from Revolut, where she was Government Affairs and Policy Manager. At Yaspa, she will lead policy engagement from the company’s London headquarters, focusing on expanding regulatory relationships across the UK, EU, and globally. Her role will also involve driving collaboration with industry stakeholders and policymakers as Yaspa deepens its influence within payments and demonstrates the versatility of its solutions across multiple industries, including iGaming.

Founded in 2017, Yaspa leverages open banking technology and AI to deliver its Intelligent Payments platform, giving regulated businesses real-time insights, improved cash flow, and compliance-ready payment tools. The technology has proven particularly valuable to online gambling operators, enabling them to meet strict regulatory requirements, enhance responsible gambling measures, and streamline the player payments journey.

The company, led by CEO James Neville, has scaled rapidly from 15 employees to 70 in just 18 months, cementing its position as one of the UK’s most dynamic fintechs in the payments and identity space.
