Global betting and gaming brand enters Danish market, establishing local headquarters at Parken Stadium
Stake has officially launched in Denmark after securing a five-year online casino and sports betting licence, marking its entry into the Nordic region as part of its continued global expansion strategy.
Denmark is widely recognised as one of Europe’s most mature and well-regulated online gambling markets. With its launch, Stake introduces its flagship casino and sportsbook platform to Danish players, combining global scale with a localised approach tailored to the competitive Danish landscape.
The operator’s offering will include its full suite of casino and sportsbook products, supported by proprietary technology and a premium user experience designed to meet local regulatory standards and player expectations.
From 1 March 2026, Stake Denmark will also establish its headquarters at Parken Stadium, Denmark’s national football stadium and home of FC Copenhagen, underlining its long-term commitment to the market.
Peter Eugen Clausen, Managing Director at Stake Denmark, said:
“Denmark has one of the most well-regulated and competitive gaming markets in Europe, and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. With Stake’s arrival, Danish players can expect a fresh, world-class experience backed by global scale and strong local focus. We’re raising the bar in terms of product, transparency, and entertainment, and I believe increased competition from brands like Stake will only drive the market forward in a positive way.”
Brais Pena, Chief Strategy Officer at Easygo, the technology company behind Stake, added:
“Denmark marks our entry into the Nordics and represents a clear win in one of Europe’s most mature and high-value markets. With each new market, our momentum continues to build as we deliver on our global expansion strategy.”
Founded in 2017, Stake has grown into one of the world’s largest online casino and sportsbook brands, driven by its focus on technology-led innovation and differentiated gaming experiences. As it enters Denmark, the company emphasises its commitment to responsible gambling, supported by comprehensive tools and player protection measures aligned with local regulatory requirements.
The Danish launch further strengthens Stake’s European footprint and represents a strategic step in its long-term growth roadmap across regulated markets.
