Sportradar Launches Playradar iGaming Brand to Deliver Hybrid Sports-Casino Experiences

Sportradar has launched Playradar, a new iGaming-focused brand designed to deliver integrated sportsbook and casino experiences through proprietary hybrid content.

The initiative marks a strategic expansion of Sportradar’s iGaming business, leveraging its core strengths in sports data, live streaming and global distribution to create cross-vertical gaming solutions for operators.

To lead this growth, the company has appointed Edo Haitin, former CEO of Playtech Live, as EVP of iGaming. Haitin brings over two decades of experience across live casino, product development and iGaming operations.

Playradar will combine Sportradar’s live and historical sports data with casino mechanics to deliver a new category of hybrid content. Key features of the offering include:

  • Live 24/7 Experience Centre – a dual-screen environment allowing players to watch live sports while engaging with interactive gaming or betting in real time, with social and community-driven elements.
  • Sports-Casino Hybrid Content – event-driven gameplay powered by live and historical sports data, including real-time prediction products.
  • Premium iGaming Portfolio – a full suite of content spanning slots, table games, arcade, crash and virtual sports.

Sportradar’s existing ecosystem—spanning sports data, AV streaming, game development and marketing technologies—positions the company to scale Playradar globally. Its deep player insights across betting and iGaming verticals enable operators to drive cross-sell, increase engagement and maximise lifetime value.

The brand will operate exclusively in regulated markets, with initial rollout planned across the UK, North America and Latin America throughout 2026.

Carsten Koerl, Founder and CEO of Sportradar, said:
“iGaming represents a natural and scalable extension of our business. Playradar is designed to optimise cross-sell between sports betting and casino, helping operators increase player value and session length.”

Edo Haitin, EVP of iGaming at Sportradar, added:
“By combining our expertise in sports data, live streaming and product development, we are creating hybrid gaming experiences that align with the growing demand for sports-driven casino content.”

The launch underscores Sportradar’s long-term strategy to deepen its presence across adjacent verticals and unlock new revenue streams through integrated, data-driven entertainment experiences.
