New hire reinforces Midnite’s long-term focus on safer gambling, trust, and operational excellence
Fast-growing UK sportsbook and casino Midnite has announced the appointment of Alex Henderson as Vice President of Compliance, as the company strengthens its leadership team amid rapid growth and expanding partnerships.
Henderson brings significant experience across compliance, regulatory affairs, and operational risk within the gambling industry. Having worked with established operators, law enforcement, and advisory firms, he joins Midnite with a proven ability to balance commercial ambition with regulatory expectations. 
His appointment follows key recent hires including Zach Amin as VP of Sportsbook and Andrew Mook as Head of Brand Marketing—both of whom joined from Flutter.
As VP of Compliance, Henderson will oversee regulatory compliance and internal processes, supporting Midnite’s commitment to safer gambling and high operational standards under its UK Gambling Commission licence.

Founded by Nick Wright and Daniel Qu, who previously launched fantasy sports app Dribble with Sky Bet, Midnite has grown steadily since launching its sportsbook in 2018. In April, the brand secured £7.7 million in growth funding, followed by high-profile sponsorship deals with the World Snooker Championship, Southampton FC, and Sheffield United.
