Fish & Chips makes its debut and joins YGG Masters platform

A brand-new UK-facing slot studio, Fish & Chips, has made its market debut, bringing a distinct blend of British humour, retro charm, and light-hearted fun to the world of iGaming.

Built on three core pillars — Britishness, Levity, and Nostalgia — Fish & Chips aims to create games that feel instantly familiar, blending classic slot mechanics with witty storytelling and characterful design. The studio’s creative approach evokes the atmosphere of a quintessential night at the pub: cheeky, comforting, and endlessly entertaining.

To power its international rollout, Fish & Chips has partnered with Yggdrasil, joining the YGG Masters program as its distribution partner. The collaboration also sees Fish & Chips become the first studio to pilot Game in a Box™, Yggdrasil’s next-generation development framework designed to dramatically speed up the creation, testing, and deployment of slot content.

The first titles from Fish & Chips are expected to launch in January 2026, offering operators globally a new brand of British-inspired entertainment.

Fish & Chips was born from the belief that slots should be fun and feel familiar. We wanted to make games that players instantly recognise and enjoy with a smile,” said the Fish & Chips marketing team. “Joining the YGG Masters program allows us to share that feeling with players worldwide, while Game in a Box helps us do it smarter and faster than ever.

Zoe Bird, Head of YGG Masters, added: “We welcome Fish & Chips to the YGG Masters family as the first ever studio to adopt our groundbreaking Game in a Box technology. From conception to go-live in one month, it’s a major step forward — and we’re confident their titles will resonate with players everywhere.
