BGaming has taken a decisive step in its European growth strategy, securing a B2B license from the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen). The move grants the Malta-based content provider the green light to supply its portfolio of certified games to licensed operators in Sweden.
This marks the first time Swedish players will have access to BGaming’s library, which includes popular releases such as Merge Up and Aztec Clusters. New titles will also roll out in the market as soon as they are launched, giving operators a fresh edge in one of Europe’s most competitive jurisdictions.
Entering a highly regulated and opportunity-rich market
Sweden’s iGaming sector is widely recognized for its strict player protection measures and robust regulatory framework. It is also home to some of the industry’s most established operators, making it a strategic entry point for suppliers aiming to strengthen their European presence.
For BGaming, this license is not just about market access, but also about reinforcing its reputation for regulatory compliance and operational integrity. Antonina Ivanova, BGaming’s Head of Legal & Compliance, emphasized: “Securing approval to enter Sweden marks a significant milestone for us in one of Europe’s most competitive markets. Our team is always working to ensure full compliance with the highest regulatory standards, and being granted entry into one of the industry’s toughest markets is a testament to this.”
BGaming’s player-focused portfolio with a global reach
Founded on a player-driven philosophy, BGaming has built a portfolio of over 200 products featuring HD graphics, intuitive interfaces, and seamless performance across devices. Its games are live on more than 2,000 online casinos worldwide, with a track record of developing brand exclusives in partnership with leading operators.
Notably, BGaming was the first iGaming provider to support cryptocurrencies and introduce Provably Fair games, an innovation that continues to resonate with a wide range of players.
With its Swedish license now in hand, BGaming is preparing to collaborate with top-tier local operators to deliver distinctive gaming experiences tailored for the market. As Ivanova added, “We look forward to partnering with leading operators in Sweden and introducing our distinctive gaming experiences to local players for the first time”.
