Altenar renews sponsorship of Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon through 2027

Altenar, a leading sportsbook and iGaming software provider, has confirmed it will continue as sponsor of the Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon for another three years, extending the partnership through 2027.

This year’s Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon will be held on 10th August, marking the third consecutive year of Altenar’s backing as part of its broader strategy to invest in and support the Isle of Man community.

At the centre of the event, Altenar’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) John Quaye will once again tackle the famously challenging course himself, underscoring the provider’s commitment to hands-on local engagement. Participants will receive newly designed medals, t-shirts, and trophies this year, with extra medals for winners of the Isle of Man Marathon Championships.

Forging strong ties with the Isle of Man’s residents and reinforcing its connection to the region is a fundamental part of Altenar’s approach. In addition to the sponsorship, Altenar has also signed on to sponsor the island’s Gran Fondo cycling race, further demonstrating its commitment to local sport and community engagement.

John Quaye, CFO at Altenar, said:
“We are delighted to support the Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon for a third year. It has been such a rewarding journey, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a meaningful local tradition. We are also pleased to announce that Altenar will remain the official sponsor for another two years at least.

“Being able to actively support our community and engage in events like this is something we take great pride in at Altenar.”
