Abelson Sports, a leading provider of sports betting data solutions, has added significant firepower to its football trading team with the appointment of Mikey Mumford and Richard Evison as Senior Football Traders.
The move sees the two former Sky Bet veterans bring over 35 years of combined industry experience to Abelson Sports, as the company continues to expand its trading operations, particularly across player props and stats-driven football markets.
Mikey Mumford (pictured above) spent more than a decade at Sky Bet, where he was instrumental in shaping the operator’s football betting proposition, including the development of RequestABet and BuildABet – two products that revolutionised bet customisation in the UK. He also played a central role in the EFL sponsorship-led football strategy that underpinned the brand’s growth. 
Evison (pictured below) brings an extensive track record from 25 years at Sky Bet and its predecessor Surrey Sports. His expertise spans pre-match and ante-post trading, manager markets, and the evolution of match stats betting, all of which are pivotal areas of growth in modern football betting.
