Xpoint has strengthened its executive bench with the appointment of Shaan Devaraj as Chief Technology Officer, a move aligned with the company’s plan to scale its geolocation and compliance technology across regulated markets worldwide.
Devaraj joins Xpoint with more than 30 years of engineering and leadership experience. His background spans geolocation innovation, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and service-oriented architecture. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in the field, holding several geolocation patents and serving as co-inventor of the first Remote Gaming Server.
Before joining Xpoint, Devaraj served as CTO at United Interactive LLC, where he oversaw the launch of the Symphony iGaming platform and the Bet United B2C brand. He previously spent 14 years at IGT’s Double Down Interactive, holding senior technology roles and helping drive growth in online and mobile gaming. 
In his new position, Devaraj will collaborate closely with CEO Manu Gambhir and the leadership team to advance Xpoint’s engineering strategy and accelerate development of its geolocation solutions.
