NEOWIZ and Kangwon Land, Inc. have signed a new Slot Software Development Agreement, with Massive Gaming (MVG) supporting co-development under the partnership.
Building on the success of the online-to-offline slot Shen Shou Wan Fu, the agreement establishes an integrated co-development system for next-generation slot content. NEOWIZ and MVG will jointly lead software development for online versions, while Kangwon Land focuses on hardware manufacturing and casino deployment, creating a tightly connected co-development ecosystem.
George Cho, CEO & Director of MVG, said:
“We are delighted to take our partnership with Kangwon Land to the next level, built on the deep trust we have established since 2021. Through our integrated development partnership, we aim to introduce innovative slot content that will be recognised in the global market.”
Under the agreement, Kangwon Land owns the offline slot machine software, while NEOWIZ and MVG retain IP rights for online versions. The partnership expands NEOWIZ’s and MVG’s roles beyond resource supply, accelerating innovation and reinforcing their global competitiveness.
This follows the initial collaboration that saw Shen Shou Wan Fu’s online graphics and sound assets supplied by NEOWIZ and MVG and launched as a physical slot at Kangwon Land’s casino in 2024. The renewed agreement solidifies the companies’ commitment to driving next-gen slot content across both online and offline markets.
